Code 219. Work lamp

Requirements: 1) the positioning of the work lamp must allow the work area to be adequately illuminated, but must not create a traffic hazard by causing glare; 2) the work lamp may be portable; 3) the light from the work lamp, except when used on an emergency or pursuit vehicle, must be diffused using a lamp lens with a diffusing pattern or technology serving a similar function. The lens of the work lamp must not bear the marking of a lamp used as a vehicle lighting or light-signalling device. The beam of light produced by the work lamp must be white or selective yellow; 4) the work lamp must be switched on using a separate switch, and the dashboard of the motor vehicle must have an indicator light showing that it is switched on.
